Our first product, SuperVisor was launched in 1989 as an administration and superannuation software system for Corporate and DIY superannuation and quickly became an industry benchmark for an administration system supporting complex tax calculations. SuperVisor II was launched in 1998, and replaced the original SuperVisor system. The completely re-engineered and re-developed SuperVisor II system, caters for administration requirements of all sectors of the finance industry.
Integration creating a "One-Stop-Shop" solution
As the first new development of Australian financial administration and superannuation software for many years, SuperVisor II is without peer in the market place. Integration across the system is comprehensive including General Ledger, Investment Register and Member Data with eight optional modules. The benefits of a fully integrated system include less reliance on integration with external systems, greater data accuracy, and in turn a substantially reduced error rate. We like to refer to this as our "one-stop-shop" solution.

Market leading innovation
We pride ourselves on our speed to market and ongoing system compliancy. We were the first industry provider to adopt AAS 25 Accounting Standards, the first to automatically calculate capital gains tax, the first to encompass allocated pension support as standard, and the first excluded fund administration package to provide a working surcharge reporting system. All of these features were provided to our clients as part of their annual maintenance.
Industry standards
SuperVisor II is based on the highly regarded Progress Relational database. Progress Software has provided solutions for fourth generation languages and databases for over two decades. By choosing a leading international database and 4GL technology provider we are able to benefit by their continued investment in future technologies. We can concentrate on how our clients wish to use the technology while Progress concentrates on innovations. Indeed, Progress was recently confirmed by the Gartner Group as the leader in the embedded database market worldwide.
Dedicated Testing
Our testing focus is on quality controls exposing all issues and associated risks, then communicating all known issues to the project development team. This ensures that all issues are addressed in an appropriate manner prior to any software being released. In addition to the extensive internal testing performed on all new releases, clients can also use our experienced consultants to lead their own user acceptance testing activities.
Customisable
A solution can be fully customised to the unique requirements of your business, with user definable rules and procedures incorporated into the underlying design of the system. A high level of security is also included using passwords, industry standard SSL and audit trails. Every client has the same code and data schema making support and ongoing growth of the product far simpler and cost effective. Clients use all of the core system components and then a combination of one or more of the enhanced modules.
Core System
The core SuperVisor II system is comprised of the following modules: - Compliance: maintains full compliance information for all funds;
- Pensions: generate pension quotes and creates regular payment records for pension payments;
- Financials: full AAS25 General Ledger for both super and non super;
- Investment: provides detailed tracking of all investments (including direct investments) and the appropriate tax relevant to the funds;
- Member: stores details of individuals, their memberships and associations;
- Contacts: stores detailed contact, address and relationship information of one or more primary funds/entities;
- Workflow: standard letters, organiser, field level validation and enquiry tracking.
Enhanced System
The following SuperVisor II modules can be optionally licenced:
- Internet: realtime straight through processing (STP) solutions;
- Productivity: scheduling processes, monitoring work in progress, automated bank reconciliation and corporate actions;
- Fees and Commissions: a comprehensive rule-driven solution for all levels of fee and commission structures;
- Cashbook: auto banking, reconciliation and reporting functions;
- Pooled: unitised and earning rate pooled investment structures;
- Asset Management: portfolio management and calculations, corporate actions, orders pending, direct investment profiles & switching.
